Bike won't start, single click from the starter
Usually points to a weak battery or a failing starter motor/solenoid.
Engine warning light with reduced power
Could be a sensor fault, throttle body issue or something more serious — get it scanned.
Clunking noise from the rear on take-up of drive
Often the final drive chain and sprockets, or on shaft-drive bikes, the bevel gear.
Spongy or soft brake lever
Likely air in the system, degraded brake fluid, or a master cylinder fault.
Oil visibly weeping down the front fork
A worn fork seal letting damping oil past.
Rear wheel hopping on hard downshifts
A sign your slipper clutch may need attention, or clutch plates are worn.
Battery keeps going flat despite regular riding
Points to a charging system fault rather than the battery itself.
Engine overheating warning
Pull over — usually low coolant, a fan or thermostat fault, or a blocked radiator.
