What is a Swingarm?
The pivoted arm that holds the rear wheel and lets it move up and down with the suspension.

In plain English
The swingarm connects the rear wheel and final drive to the frame via a pivot, allowing controlled up-and-down movement while keeping the wheel aligned as the suspension works.
A simple analogy

How it works
One end pivots on bearings mounted to the frame, while the other end carries the rear axle. As the rear shock compresses and extends, the swingarm rotates around that pivot point, keeping the wheel's alignment consistent through its travel.
