How it works
Each switch completes or breaks an electrical circuit, sending a signal to the relevant component — indicators flash via a relay, the starter button engages the starter motor via a solenoid. Modern bikes increasingly route these signals through the ECU rather than direct wiring, enabling features like ride-mode switching from the same clusters.
