Standard, non-radar, cruise control maintains your set speed regardless of gradient, without the following-distance awareness of the adaptive version — useful for long, steady motorway stretches.
How it works
The system reads current road speed and adjusts throttle position electronically to maintain it, compensating for hills by opening or closing the throttle as needed, until you brake, close the throttle sharply, or cancel it manually.
What it feels like to use
On a long motorway leg it genuinely reduces fatigue in your right wrist — just remember it won't slow down for traffic ahead the way the radar-based version will.
