Start and unlock the bike with a fob in your pocket — no physical key needed.

With a coded fob carried on your person, the bike recognises your presence and allows the ignition to be switched on and the steering lock released without inserting a physical key.
How it works
The fob constantly exchanges a low-power coded signal with the bike's immobiliser system. Once in range and verified, a push-button start, rather than a key barrel, is enabled to fire the ignition.
What it feels like to use
Handy in gloves and bad weather — no fumbling for a key at a fuel stop — though it's worth carrying a spare fob battery, since a flat one can leave you unable to start the bike.
